That said, I will not be able to give so many tips because there are so many body types and sizes. I'd just give a few mostly of things that should be taken note of everyday.
1. Colour combination: I realized that people are so conscious of this that they wear almost one color throughout. For example, wearing a yellow shirt and because you dont think any other thing suits yellow other than another yellow, you wear yellow pants. In such a case, since yellow is a bright color, it should be followed with a dull color and then you could wear accessories that suit the dull color more (depending on the ocassion), because yellow is loud enough.

Sometimes people tend to not wear outside the predominant colors on the clothes because they are that scared adding more colors would cause a disorder in the dressing. In this case, it depends on what kind of color that is being predominant. If the color is a bright one( Blue, red, yellow) then you may accessorize with dull colors or with colors of the same type as the bright color so the colors would not clash, for example red and pink. Also, if the color is dull (like black, brown, grey), you should accessorize with bright colors if you do not want to look dull.
In recent times, dull colors are not in vogue so in every dressing, it is necessary(not compulsory), in order to move with the trend, to have a touch of brightness. Okay, that is a paradox because personally, I love dull colors even though bright ones attract me. I realized that bright colors do not add beauty alone to you but it adds a bit to your mood unlike dull colors. So I said to myself, 'What the heck? I have nothing to lose if i add brightness to my outfit. Now, this does not have to be applied when dressing casually, albeit it still helps if you do. But for certain occasions that call for the use if bright colors, they should be used.
